BUDGET

The General Assembly funds all LEAs for AIG programming.  LEAs receive funds based on 4% of ADM at $1163.07 per pupil.  All LEAs receive these funds regardless of the number of identified AIG students.  These funds are allocated as part of the general student allocation from DPI.

Notes:

  • The General Assembly passed an increase in the budget of $6 million for 2008-09. This increased the per pupil allocation to $1163.07 from $1083.32 in 2007-08.
  • For year 2008-09, NC LEAs received $66,949,383 to support AIG student identification and services.
