From summer 2014 through spring 2015, Network teachers created instructional sequences that cover a total of nine weeks for a year-long schedule or 4.5 weeks for block scheduling (approximately 2-4 instructional units). Each sequence included the unit plan and a minimum of four lessons that integrate a variety of multi-media instructional resources accessible through Home Base. NCDPI staff reviewed all lessons and units and provided Network teachers with feedback. All Network teacher-created resources were shared statewide via Schoolnet within Home Base. NCDPI staff provided Network teachers with initial training and ongoing support, and connected with Network teachers via webinars throughout the school year.
