The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part B, Section 611 federal funds provide resources for children with mental, physical or emotional disabilities. State formula grants help to ensure a free, appropriate public education for children with disabilities that meets challenging standards and prepares them for higher education, employment and independent living.
IDEA Part B, Section 619 federal funds provide special education and related services for children with disabilities aged 3-5.
