Performance and Growth of NC Public Schools
This report provides growth and performance data for the 2016–17 school year based on analysis of all End-of-Grade and End-of-Course tests in English Language Arts/Reading and Mathematics and the Essential Standards in Science for all district schools and charter schools.

ESSA State Plan
The State Board of Education approved the draft plan Sept. 7 with a modification to the Theory of Action. The final plan will be posted soon.

New K-8 Mathematics Standards Adopted
Elementary and middle school math standards have been updated for implementation in the 2018-19 school year.
