North Carolina is a participating state in the Graduation and Outcomes for Success for OSY (GOSOSY) Consortium, which sponsors a website:  The website contains a wealth of information about serving OSY through both instruction and supportive services.  The materials contained on the website are free for your use and include a wide variety of teaching materials for classroom settings, tutorials, and digital learning.

HEP, the High School Equivalency Program
This program is a sister program of the Migrant Education Program, and offers farmworkers and former farmworkers the opportunity to study for a GED through the program administered by Wake Technical Community College.

VISTA Training, Resources, and Opportunities for Farmworker Youth (TROFY) Project
The North Carolina Migrant Education Program also sponsors an Americorps VISTA project that recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers working in two eastern North Carolina counties.  The project’s website contains a wide variety of lesson plans and suggestions for working with OSY.

The National Center for Farmworker Health
Produces a wide variety of instructional materials for health education, including fact sheets that can be used as springboards to new lessons.
