RACE TO THE TOP CONTRACT – DISCOVERY EDUCATION
In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding procurements utilizing Race to the Top funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a purchase order to Discovery Education for the renewal of access to the digital services they provide. Discovery Education is a collection of digital resources used to enhance instruction. They offer a collection of video resources, interactive lessons, assessments, and virtual experiences that cover numerous curriculum areas. These resources will be utilized to help students make real world connections to the learning. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Monday, October 24, 2011.
