ARRA CONTRACT ALERT - CELT
In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding procurements utilizing American Recovery & Re-Investment Act funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to the Center for Educational Leadership and Technology (CELT) for the purpose of providing Instructional Improvement System (IIS) RFP expertise and execution in the evaluation process of the vendor proposals, cost analysis, and vendor demonstrations for the IIS RFP. CELT is uniquely qualified for these aforementioned services, as they have been engaged in assisting NC DPI with developing the business and technical requirements for the IIS RFP the last several months. Having been extensively involved with NC DPI's vision and requirements for the IIS and the national Shared Learning Initiative IIS, CELT is in a unique position to support the Department in the evaluation and vendor selection of the IIS RFP. It is imperative that the Department obtain the needed services of CELT, in order to ensure the awarded vendor for the IIS RFP can fully meet the unique challenges of satisfying the State's requirements and ensuring the awarded vendor can also integrate with the national Shared Learning Initiative IIS requirements. This vendor relationship has been in place since 2002. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
