PUBLIC NOTICES 2011-12 :: JUNE 6, 2012

RACE TO THE TOP CONTRACT ALERT – NCSSM

In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding contracts utilizing Race to the Top (RttT) funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM). The NCSSM is to develop 16 curriculum courses with authentic assessments for four year-long courses in the STEM areas of Agriscience and Biotechnology, Health and Life Sciences, Aerospace and Security and Automation, and Energy and Sustainability. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
