PUBLIC NOTICES 2013-14 :: MAY 15, 2014

ARRA CONTRACT ALERT - PEARSON

In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding procurements utilizing Race-to-the-Top funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to Pearson for the purpose of purchasing Books classified as an Academic Purchase. This purchase request is for NC Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) section. The Books will be used to support the implementation of training required by new selected teachers for the teacher and Governor network. A pre existing relationship was established in January 2014 for testing materials. Pearson is the sole source for these published materials. Pearson is uniquely qualified for this Published Material Academic Purchase request. The title and any ancillary material connected to it are copyright owned only by Pearson. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Friday, May 16, 2013.
