Fall Holocaust Teacher Workshops Scheduled

The North Carolina Holocaust Council will hold fall Holocaust Teacher Workshops for middle and high school social studies and English/language arts teachers (although any teacher may attend).

The free, one-day multi-county workshops will include sessions on how to teach the Holocaust, a conversation with a Holocaust survivor, and in-depth exploration of the Holocaust, Anti-Semitism, Propaganda or Resistance.

All workshops will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., and teachers will receive .6 CEU’s upon completion. Substitute pay will be provided. Registration opened Sept. 8. Space is limited so prompt registration is encouraged.

Additional information on the Holocaust Council is available online. Questions may be directed to the Holocaust Council’s Director of Teacher Workshops Audrey Krakovitz.
