The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has contracted with Communities In Schools of North Carolina (CISNC) to manage the Learn and Serve grant. If you are a current recipient of Learn and Serve funding (2009-10), you can anticipate a monitoring visit from a CISNC representative, as well as contact from an evaluator and an invitation to participate in an end-of-year forum. The forum will provide an opportunity to share your accomplishments and best practices (date and location TBD). You may also depend upon CISNC to provide training and technical assistance that you may require to complete your project.

Your primary contact at CISNC is Arlene Wouters, Director of Community Development. She can be reached at 919.832.2700, ext 117. Please contact her should you have any questions.
