NC School Report Card: Data Review Period Begins Today

NC School Report Card: The Data Preview period for the 2012-13 version begins TODAY.
The Data Preview Period is open January 2-13. All data questions and outstanding issues must be submitted by 5 pm on January 13.
There are several ways to access the School Report Card (SRC):
WEB: The Web versions of the school and district Report Cards may be accessed here: http://testsrc.dpi.state.nc.us/ (This is a test site only; please do not share this link prior to the release date of January 28.)


PDFs: Printable versions of the school and district Report Cards (also called Snapshots) can be accessed from each school and district Report Card.
ZIP Files: A ZIP file containing PDFs for all of the schools in a district, plus the district’s PDF, can be downloaded from the district Report Card. Free software and detailed instructions for opening ZIP files are available on the Web: PC users: WinZip: http://www.winzip.com/ MAC users: Stuff It Expander: http://www.stuffit.com


How to Submit a Data Question/Issue During Data Preview:
Contact the SRC Coordinator for your LEA or Charter School. NCDPI will only accept questions from the SRC Coordinator.

Data from prior Report Cards (2001-2012) do not need to be reviewed again. Only 2012-13 data should be reviewed.
Please note that the NC Department of Public Instruction will not accept requests for corrections from schools that did not meet deadlines for submitting data at the local level or submitted it incorrectly.


HELPFUL HINTS FOR SUBMITTING YOUR DATA QUESTIONS/ISSUES:
Please do not wait to submit all of your questions/corrections at the end of the review period. Submit your questions as you encounter them.
This review is for 2012-13 Report Cards data only. Issues will not be accepted for prior years’ data.
