"Guide to Measuring Student Growth Data" New to the Educator Effectiveness Website
The "Guide to Measuring Student Growth" is a resource that provides details on the use of student growth data in evaluating North Carolina’s teachers, and is available at

The first section of the guide summarizes recent changes to the North Carolina Education Evaluation System, including the addition of a new evaluation standard. The second section details various ways in which growth will be calculated. The remaining sections outline which assessment data will be used to measure student progress, how student growth will be calculated using the assessment results, and which data will be included in individual teacher growth values.

Spread the Word About Project Child Find with Promotional Material on the Web
Project Child Find posters, brochures and a letter explaining the Project Child Find program are available on the Exceptional Children website at Project Child Find is a program where school districts work with local community programs to locate children with disabilities who need special education services. District and community supporters can duplicate the material and distribute it to spread the word about Project Child Find.
