AT&T launches Aspire Request for Proposal

Dear LEA Superintendents,

We just received information from Venessa Harrison and Carlos Sanchez from AT&T about a wonderful opportunity for local school systems to apply for a grant for high school success and drop-out prevention projects.  Below is the information that I have received.  There is a link in the last paragraph so that you can access information about the grants that range in value from $300,000 to 1 million dollars.  Many of you have experienced tremendous success in your efforts to lower the drop-out rate and these grants would be a positive way for you to continue and expand upon your work.

The deadline to submit proposals is around the corner (January 17) and I apologize for the late notice, but we just received information about the Aspire High School Success initiative.

Best wishes to you should you seek an Aspire grant for your fine efforts.

June S. Atkinson, Ed.D.
