NC Charter Schools Advisory Board to Meet

The North Carolina Charter Schools Advisory Board will meet next Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 9-10, in the 7th Floor Board Room, Education Building, 301 N. Wilmington Street, Raleigh.

Monday's meeting will be held from 9 a.m. – 3:40 p.m. After receiving a financial status update on STEM Education for a Global Society Academy, The Children's Village and PACE Academy, Board members will break into two subcommittees to complete their charter application reviews for charter schools opening in 2016-17. The subcommittees will meet in the Board Room and the Board Lounge. The Board will meet as a whole at 3 p.m. to make its recommendations.

On Tuesday, the Board will meet from 9 a.m. – 3:50 p.m. The agenda will focus on charter application interviews for charter schools opening in 2016-17.

Attached is the tentative agenda highlighting which charter applications are being reviewed on Monday and the schedule for charter application interviews on Tuesday.
